Using the ConnectUPS™ Adapter for communication with UPS on Ethernet or Token Ring networks running OnliNet® or SNMP- compatible network management software, you can quickly determine if there is a power-related problem anywhere on the network.

The difference between the standard ConnectUPS and the SL model is that the SL model is housed in a new enclosure which allows the user to insert it in the slot available on the NetUPS 1/1.5 KVA, NetUPS SE (except 2000-3000VA rack-mount models) and LV Profile models.

The difference between the standard ConnectUPS and the M model is that the M version allows the user to connect an external modem directly to the unit. While communicating to the network with both UDP/IP and SNMP protocols, the ConnectUPS-M can now handle also the modem communications simultaneously.

The ConnectUPS SNMP/Web Adapter, a network adapter, provides SNMP, HTTP, SMTP, WAP and telnet compatibility and advanced RS232 communications. Use of this adapter provides easy monitoring, management, and when necessary safe shut-down of UPS-protected equipment.
