The ConnectUPS MultiViewTM program is a web browser for Windows 98™, 2000™, XP™. This program uses your existing Windows
Internet Explorer, but, increases the functionality of your current browser in two very important ways. Firstly, it allows you to look at
multiple web sites at the same time within a single browser window. As such, you can be looking at CNN, ABC, NBC, weather.com or any number of
web sites- all at the same time. The second enhanced feature of the MultiView program is that you can also have it look for and automatically
add to that screen, the browser pages of connected ConnectUPS Web/SNMP Cards from POWERWARE UPS's. |
The ConnectUPS MultiView program provides a powerful tool for creating your own personalized monitoring station: regardless of
if you want to keep your eye on the weather, the news, the financial world, your powertrain, or any of your network devices- or all of them at
the same time!
Since the MultiView program is a browser- you can have separate windows pointing to any web status page- of any device. MultiView can be set to
automatically refresh each page as well.
One very important feature should be noted about using the MultiView software in conjunction with the POWERWARE ConnectUPS Web/SNMP Card to
monitor your UPSs. The Web card has a unique feature entitled Status@AGlance™
The Status@AGlance™ page of the Web Card is a simple web page who's colour indicates the over-all status of the UPS. If your organization had
several Web Cards, a single MultiView screen with multiple Status@AGlance™ pages gives you instant status at a glance. This is perfect for
Guard Stations, IT Centers or Manager's desks.
